Use America's colors - but with a twist...instead of the traditional red & blue, use a turquoise and brick red combo with some white. Sounds a little odd, but the yarn I'm working with right now has that mix in it (with some yellow and dk blue thrown in) and it is a really pretty mix.

I lucked out and found some QQ paper that was turquoise and brick red!  I actually love this color combo.

I found a Little Yellow Bicycle kit, with perfect turquoise to add some brick red to! The brick is on the 'inches' snow border, hand 'stitching, photo frame and a pearl in the center of my medallion snowflake. I think it picked up my Christmas table color scheme perfectly!
