A popular discussion on the boards this month has been about Kiwi Lane templates.  I started thinking more about using borders and layers.

My challenge for our cyber crop is LAYERS.  You certainly do not have to use those templates, but make a border (top, bottom, middle--doesn't matter) on your layout and layer it up with at least 3 layers!

Here's the prize--I'll build a kit and y'all will decide how much goes in it.  One name will be drawn to receive it.   For everyone person who enters this challenge, I'll add one element to the kit.  There's no limit--you make a L/O with layers, post it here, and I'll add a layer to the prize.

Let's layer on some extra time, too.  DUE DATE:  Next Friday, NOVEMBER 15, 2013.

HAVE FUN!

Here is mine - the border was made with the help of Kiwi Lane Designs chevron templates.

I used an ST kit from December last year, and a bunch of ribbons and trims.

The winner is..

But first, great layouts everyone!  I commented earlier on Cass', and certainly did not mean to skip over the others!  Ya' know--it's a time thing!
Cass, great layout and I love that you are so disciplined to finish early!
Di, I love your festive Christmas page with the lace and evergreen swags!
Anne, the chevrons are great.  So glad you used the templates.  I have one set that I've not tried.
and Pam!  Your layouts always make me smile!  So colorful and cheerful!

Great layered borders!  I'll add my late entry and make the total 5 elements in a sussy kit for our winner, randomly drawn by my DH, Cass.

Congrats, and THANKS EVERYONE for playing!
